About Women’s Chorus

Comprised of more than 180 members, the Women’s Chorus is one of four prestigious choirs at Brigham Young University. With auditions held annually, the ensemble honors the female voice by showcasing their incredibly focused technique and well-rehearsed sound. Under the direction of Dr. Sonja Poulter, the choir garners domestic and international acclaim with their diverse repertoire, harmonious blend of voices, and depth of sound. Their empowerment of the divine attributes of women alongside the skillful creation of music encourages both the singers and audience members to engage in peace-finding and faith-promoting experiences.
