Gathered together on the windy landscape of Utah’s famous Salt Flats, BYU Women’s Chorus
delivered a stilling rendition of the classic hymn, “Abide with Me”. This a cappella arrangement
by Shawn Kirchner is certainly done justice by the women of the choir, as each section blends
together seamlessly, soothing even the most restless of souls.

The lyrics are a reverent plea for the divine to be with us as we navigate dark times in our lives,
a theme on which Women’s Chorus continues to found their repertoire. Viewers and listeners
can clearly feel the conviction of these talented women as they sing tenderly, yet powerfully of
the peace that comes from the Lord’s presence in our lives.
