After wrapping up their visit to New York City this summer, BYU Contemporary Dance Theatre is back on campus, perfecting their craft and preparing for their next season of local shows. Here is all you need to know about their upcoming performances in 2025-2026.

September 25-27: World of Dance: World of Dance showcases the best of BYU dance, featuring performances by the Ballroom Dance Company, Contemporary Dance Theatre, the International Folk Dance Ensemble, Living Legends, Theatre Ballet, and the Young Ambassadors.

February 25-28: Contemporary Dance Theatre in Concert: Come enjoy an evening of contemporary dance! Contemporary Dance Theatre at BYU is a repertory-based company focused on giving technically advanced students an opportunity to work closely with faculty and guest choreographers in developing work that espouses current aesthetics in the discipline. While performing the work is a wonderful outgrowth of the company’s efforts, equal focus is given to daily rigorous studio practice that requires collaborative communication and a high degree of physical, spiritual, and mental resilience.
