“Amarraditos”: The Song that Secured BYU Singers’ a Win

The BYU Singers have released a new single and music video featuring a fresh arrangement of “Amarraditos” by Ernesto Herrera. The original song was created by one of the most famous voices in Spain and Latin America, María Dolores Fernández Pradera.

This release highlights the Singers’ recent tour to Cork, Ireland, where this song helped them win first place at the Fleischmann International Trophy Competition during the Cork International Choral Festival.

The music video presents a montage of photos and footage from their tour, providing an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes of performances and unforgettable moments from their time in Ireland.

The song is one of lovers going hand in hand and being romantically “tied together” as they face the day. This arrangement of “Amarraditos” features beautiful harmonies and shows the singers’ talent and dedication to the art of choral performance. This new release offers fans an opportunity to enjoy their music while celebrating their achievements abroad.
