BYU Men’s Chorus Shares Faith-Filled EP “He Sent His Son”

BYU Men’s Chorus has released their latest EP, “He Sent His Son,” featuring four Christ-centric tracks that resonate with themes of faith, strength, and the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. Dr. Brent Wells, the choir’s director, emphasized the significance behind the EP, stating that it aligns with the Men’s Chorus legacy of creating accessible music for not only church members but for all of Christianity.

The intent behind the EP is to offer songs that inspire listeners to find solace and spiritual guidance through our Savior, especially during times of struggle. Among the standout tracks is “He Sent His Son,” an arrangement crafted by Dr. Wells himself in collaboration with Michael F. Moody, the original lyricist. Dr. Wells expressed his admiration for primary songs, noting their ability to convey profound messages in simple yet impactful ways. With the release of “He Sent His Son,” BYU Men’s Chorus aims to touch the hearts of listeners worldwide. Dr. Wells hopes that the EP will serve as a source of inspiration for those who have long loved the choir and for all who appreciate religious choral music.

As the Men’s Chorus prepares for a sold-out concert tonight, March 26 at 7:30 pm MDT, they are honored to be joined by Dallyn Vail Bayles, promising an evening filled with uplifting melodies and powerful messages.
