BYU Noteworthy Finishes in 4th Place at 2022 ICCA finals

For the first time since 2007, BYU Noteworthy competed in-person at the International Championship of Collegiate A Capella. After placing first at the Southwest Quarterfinals and the Semifinals, the group embarked on the road to the finals held in New York City. As a fitting end to a successful season, the group ended up taking fourth place in the most prestigious A Capella competition in the nation. Skylar Mertz, a Noteworthy member who had graduated that April said that finals were the perfect way to end her time in Noteworthy. “I just feel like we went out with a bang,” she said. Mertz said that above all, Noteworthy wanted to “just show the audience what good performers we are and how we can really send a message and not just sing.”
