This week, BYU Singers traveled to Arizona, where they will have 10 performances in 12 days in various cities. They will also do choral workshops with students and hold devotionals for members of the LDS church.BYU Singers hold a unique and dazzling sound throughout many musical genres, from a Renaissance motet to an African-American spiritual. “We aim to perform high-quality choral music that can share BYU’s mission to uplift and inspire,” Andrew Crane says.BYU Singers have welcomed Dr. Crane as their new conductor this year. Dr. Crane has worked with many university groups and he’s excited to be working with BYU Singers. “He understands musicality and helps us reach a healthy and beautiful tone”, says choir member Gideon Burrows.
