Fifty-four excited members of this years’ BYU Singers tour to China boarded their bus to the Salt Lake City airport and headed north…actually west, as they boarded a plane and flew to Seattle. In Seattle the group rehearsed in the airport to keep their finely tuned voices ready, and then flew on over the Pacific bound for Beijing, China. Ahead of the group lay 10 Chinese cities to be visited and 15 major choral concerts to be given, intermixed with musical workshops, meeting new friends in numerous Chinese choirs, and seeing for themselves the rich history and heritage of China. Just about to board the bus to the airport!
At an early 6:00 in the morning all of Living Legends and crew boarded a bus and, juice and danish in hand, departed on their Alaska/Canada tour. Heading first to Missoula, Montana the group will hold a devotional at the University of Montana Institute before preparing for a performance on Tuesday in Kalispell. Thereafter the group will cross the border and stop in Cranbrook, British Columbia for a performance at Key City Theatre. The group will then look forward to performances in Penticton and Vernon, British Columbia before finishing off their first week on tour with a fireside at the Vernon Stake Center that Sunday.READ MORE
